How to use the photo editor?

Find out the photo editor capability and how to use it.

Photos can be edited from different areas of both the mobile and desktop application.

  1. Edit photos directly from asset library.
  2. Edit your photo when creating your avatar (mobile app only).
  3. Edit photos as you creating new posts (mobile app only).
  4. Edit newly uploaded photos to the asset library. (Currently only mobile, desktop Q1, 2019)

Users will know when they can edit a photo as they will see a small pen icon (as below) over the top of the asset.

The Visibly photo editor provides the following functionality:

-Transform : Our transform feature unifies cropping, flipping and rotation operations in one feature.

-Filter: Filters determine the mood and atmosphere of your pictures and help convey the right message for your creative.

-Adjust: The adjustment section is as versatile as Swiss army knife and holds both essential and advanced photo editing features.

-Sticker and Text: The robust text feature provides all the necessary functions for quickly adding text to any picture or creative. The Visibly editor also has a categorised sticker library whose UI is optimised for exploration and discovery.

-Overlay: This feature can be used to create neat lighting effects such as lens flare, bokeh or light leaks.

-Frame: The Visibly editor includes a versatile frame tool that works with any given photo size or ratio and provides two distinct options to apply frames.

-Brush: The brush engine is optimised for touch screen interaction and support different brush strokes  that can be edited in terms of thickness and colour.

Once the photo is in edit mode, the screen will darken in order to frame the image. Controls will then appear to edit the image.

Once editing is finished, click on the tick (mobile APP) to upload.
